FAQs

  • How do I get an appointment as a new patient?

Just call us on the number below or email our reception staff and they will arrange an appointment for you. Usually, they will offer an appointment with the hygienist (if you need your teeth cleaned) and the dentist will carry out an examination (at no extra charge) at that time.  Alternatively, our staff can arrange an appointment for an examination alone with one of our dentists.

  • How much will my initial treatment cost?

You can look at our Fees section for a range of general procedures and fees or please ask our reception staff if you have any query re fees.

  • Can I get a print out of my proposed treatment plan and associated fees?

After a detailed dental examination, we can provide you with a printed copy or e mail of a detailed treatment plan outlining the proposed treatment you need, the cost of each procedure and the number of appointments required. This can be provided along with copies of your clinical photographs or x-rays showing you what teeth need treatment.

  • Do you provide free parking?

Yes, there are six free parking spaces immediately outside the practice which are reserved for patients only. There is also free on street parking immediately adjacent to the practice building.

  • Do you provide emergency cover at weekends or bank holidays?

  • Where is the practice and what are your opening hours?

Our opening hours are listed on our Contact Page as well as at the bottom of every page. If you need a hand with directions, there is a handy interactive map on our Contact Page.

  • Can I claim tax relief on my dental treatment?

Many of the more complicated dental procedures such as dental implants, orthodontics or root canal treatment do qualify for tax relief. Our staff can provide you with the necessary form and fill in the details for you.

  • What happens if I dont turn up for my appointment?

As your appointment time is reserved specifically for you, failure to attend results in wasted surgery time and inability to accommodate patients with emergencies. A deposit for further appointments or a fee for persistent failure to attend or cancel at short notice may be applied.
