Dr Crowe attended a workshop in Dublin Dental University Hospital on Snoring and Sleep apnoea. Dr Roy Dookun gave a comprehensive overview of sleep disordered breathing with special reference to the association of Obstructive Sleep Apnoea and snoring. An explanation of how dental mandibular advancement appliances can be used to treat this problem was outlined. Roy is a GDP with a special interest in the dental management of snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea. He is the president and co founder of the British Society of Dental Sleep Medicine.
